Nankai Tomytec 21000 Series

Still in use on Oigawa railway, this 2-car EMU has been enhanced. The Tomytec series is a cheap static-model range intended for use in dioramas. Fortunately both Tomy and Kato offer parts for these models to enhance them. These parts include motors, chassis', wheelsets, pantographs, etc...
Once completed, the models often cost around double, but they are extremely realistic and great fun to build.
